I am Morgan Holmgren. I am running for the Clark County Charter Review Commission in District 4 for Position 3.
I am running for this office because I believe that Clark County needs a charter that is clear and reflects the values that make for a good government:
The work of the Commission and county should always have meaningful and effective ways to encourage public involvement. The whole public deserves to be represented by their government and I will ask how we can make our county represent the public as equally and widely as possible. Accountability is an important factor in good governance, as a member of the Commission I will ask how any changes to the charter make it easier or harder to hold our elected officials accountable for county decisions or outcomes.
